It has been a minute since Pistol Opera Agency (Black Tokyo on the beats and LAMEBOT on the mic) dropped Vol 1 their debut of sonic chaos unleashed on the world. While they work on the next project (which I assume will be Vol 2) they give us 1.5 The Remixes. I am always leery when a producer/MC combo release a remix of their projects, mainly because they tend to lose a lot, but when you bring in producers like Blockhead, Waatu, A.I. Beats, Chopzilla, and Mad Savvy, you are presented with something that is anything but a failure. It is able to both work as an extension of Vol 1 while being it's own project as well. They also do included two LAMEBOT productions, a remix of "I'm on My Way (Dreams Are Real)" and the unreleased track "The Watering Hole." So check out the 1.5 The Remixes, enjoy it, and get ready for when Pistol Opera Agency returns again.
